Salman Khan issues 10 cheques in a day for charity, says mother Salma

Patiala/Ludhiana: He may be considered as Bollywood’s bad guy, one who has numerous controversies to his name but Salman Khan is among a few of those successful persons who consider social service as their duty.
Salman’s Being Human, a non-profit charitable organization is constantly working for the welfare of the people in need.
The NGO is run by Salman and his sister Alveera, who also looks after her own film production house.
Salman’s aunt Sulbha, who is currently accompanying the ‘Dabanng’ actor on his Patiala visit, told Bhaskar News that Being Human organised a free eye check-up camp at Bahadurgarh’s Gurudwara Sahib.
Salman is currently camping in Patiala for the shooting for his next movie-Bodyguard with Kareena Kapoor.
Salman’s sister Alveera and mother Salma Khan had also visited the eye check-up camp, where over 300 patients were benefitted.
Salma told Bhaskar that her son spends a majority of his earnings helping people around.
“Salman issues at least 10 cheques in a day for charity,” said Salma.
